Double denim dreamin

So yesterday I decided to take full advantage of the fact my friend Kayleigh was staying over and asked her to take some blog pictures. I spent some time putting outfits together and getting ready. Of course by the time I went outside to start taking pictures it started to rain typical Ireland. So I had to improvise and just take them in doors.

Make up:
Foundation - Topshop BB Cream
Blusher - Sleek in rose gold
Highlighting - Sleek precious metals palette and Sunkissed highlighter stick
Eyes - Amber lights and naked palettes darkhorse.
Lips - M.A.C velvet teddy
Eyebrows - Sleek brow kit in dark.

Outfit Details;

Hat - Forever 21
Denim Duster - Penneys / Primark
Denim Crop - Loving Youth
Culottes - Penneys / Primark
Lace up shoes - Penneys / Primark

This look I feel could be worn anywhere it's one of those looks that could go from day to night. For those days you just plan on going shopping with the girls and end up in the pub for the evening lol.

If hats aren't your thing the outfit still looks good without it. I personally just love a hat and think it's the perfect finishing touch.

A flat black boot would also work if you wanted something a bit more comfy I put my docs on with it after these pics and they worked just as well.

I shot a couple of different looks yesterday so check back in a couple of days to see the rest.

As always any questions or suggestions on something you'd like to see me style or talk bout just comment below. Also check out my instagram for daily posts @sophiacahill or click on the button over om.the right to be brought directly to it.

Hope your enjoying your Sunday and have a fab week.

Rainbow Child Feat. Retro ragz

So today I went to town to meet my friend Jen who is also a blogger if you haven't checked her blog Retro Ragz out yet you need to. I'll leave her link below.

We decided to go on a nice stroll take some blog pictures and have a coffee was such a good day catching up with her.

I was feeling rather colourful and sassy today I suppose you could say I was channelling my inner confetti crowd lol.

Pom poms are just unreal I love them so much and the fact I can make them makes it even better such cute accessories to sass up any outfit. I am definatly going to start making a lot more of these.

Always been fond of wearing fishnet tights I think they are so much better than just your average tight and really add a bit of grunge/rock to an outfit which I love so when I seen these socks for €1 in the river island sale I had to grab them I also got them in blue.

Outfit Details:

Shirt- Nine Crows Vintage
Top- Penneys/Primark
Bicycle Shorts- Urban Outfitters
Fishnet Socks- River Island
Runners- JD Sports
Pom Pom- Made by me
Backpack- Penneys/Primark
Sunglasses- Forever21.

As you can probably tell from the pictures we are a pair of messers that basically ran around town taking pictures and having the craic. I was going to put Jens outfit details on here but decided no you ain't getting them that easy g check them out on her blog post.

I finally tried Krust and had my first cronut 4th  of July style and oh my god it was so yummy definitely recommend it also got an oreo iced latte unreal as well.

The wind was not co operating with us today at all poor Jens hat went for a couple of hops and I tasted my own hair far too much lol.

So as always feel free to comment below with any questions or ideas for blog posts I'm always happy to hear from you guys. Don't forget to check out my instagram for daily posts @sophiacahill also while your at it check out Jens too her feed is always great @bohorockprincess.

"All the flowers, would have very extra special powers"

So yesterday I went on a little adventure to the Powerscourt Gardens and to Glendalough. I'd never been to the gardens and they are so pretty. I've always loved flowers from a young age so I was in heaven. Feeling like Alice in wonderland floating through all these pretty gardens.

Here's what I wore I wanted to be a bit dressy so that I could take some pictures but had to be smart with my footwear choice as I knew I would be walking for quite a bit.

Outfit Details:
Leather Jacket- Penneys/Primark €25
Top- Topshop €16
Culottes- Penneys/Primark €24
Adidas holographic superstars- I think aroubd €66 not 100% though.
Backpack- Penneys/Primark €10.

So as you are probably starting to see I am in love with culottes the past while. They are perfect for any occasion and can be styled from day to night so easily. Perfect for the fashionable explorer like myself. The one thing can turn me off going on a hike can be the whole idea of wearing practical clothing as they call it. I believe once you wear practical footwear you can still pull off a nice look and culottes are perfect for this as they're not restricting at all and you get a nice breeze you them lol.

I went with my holographic Adidas for this look because they are comfortable enough for long walks but still nice enough to go with this outfit.

I am loving the whole lace up tops thing that is in at the minute. I fell in love with this little vest one from Topshop which also comes in black to and for €16 its a must have staple really. I'm hoping they get more sizes in in the black so i can get that to.

The beautiful little waterfall in The Japanese gardens was one of my favourite things. The Japanese gardens where definitely my favourite ones kind of knew they would be because of my love for Asia. Such a nice place to go spend the day walking around looking at all the lovely flowers.

Glendalough is another lovely place to visit if you haven't already. It's got two lakes and some really cool old buildings and cemeteries.

Here's me in front of one of the lakes having a blogger fail with the wind blowing my hair all over the place lol. had such a great day though and recommend you to go to both places.

So let me know what you think of these kind of ootd posts. Also comment on anything you would like to see me blog on or style below. If you haven't already check out my new header I done it today quite proud of how it turned out what do you think?
